No sign of ponies having started the new lick by the corral. A bit of searching and found them happily browsing below the big clump of Beeches. all looked well. Troughs full, cows by fence, black one got to her feet without too much huffing and puffing. Looking fine.

Lots of birdsong. The Merlin bird app gave me: European Robin, Eurasian jackdaw, Carrion crow, Eurasian wren common firecrest and european greenfinch as closest matches. Saw a muntjack deer near the bridge and some pheasants.
